With 25 years of experience, I have conducted extensive research using diverse methodologies. My expertise covers right- and left-wing populism, terrorism, digitalization, and equality studies. I have worked on various projects for academic institutions, think tanks, and policymakers. My research papers and publications can be found HERE.
Beyond research, I am an experienced keynote speaker and lecturer, having taught across Europe, the U.S., and Asia. I am passionate about sharing knowledge, fostering understanding, and developing skills. I have worked with institutions such as the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies in Brussels, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Berlin, and several German universities.
In addition to my professional experience, I have also actively engaged with students and young professionals at various universities, particularly in the fields of counter terrorism, extremism, social work, foreign policy, international relations, and EU studies. I take great advantage of these interactions, using them as a platform to gain valuable insights into emerging trends, youth perspectives, and innovative approaches to these critical issues. By participating in lectures and discussions, I stay informed on new academic research and real-world applications, while also fostering a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas. This continuous learning process enhances my understanding of complex societal issues and allows me to integrate cutting-edge perspectives into my work, ensuring that I remain adaptive and forward-thinking in the ever-changing global environment.
My security and military expertise goes beyond research and includes hands-on application. I have delivered training sessions at police academies and prisons, notably in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice of Saxony-Anhalt. These sessions, conducted across various institutions in Germany and Austria, have addressed counterterrorism, security management, and strategies to prevent radicalization within prison systems. Additionally, I have played a key role in designing and developing curricula for these specialized training programs.
I am happy to assist with research projects in both business and public administration.
