My strong European network includes collaborations with institutions such as the Bertelsmann Foundation, Bundesbank, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, and policymakers in the German Bundestag. In Austria, I work closely with foreign affairs leadership, fostering international cooperation.
Digital transformation is shaping the future, and small, innovative nations like Estonia serve as role models. During my 10 years in Estonia, I experienced first-hand how digital solutions streamline bureaucracy, making governance and business more efficient. As a German, I particularly appreciated the ease of access to digital public services.
One of my proudest achievements was helping Estonia gain global recognition for its digital leadership, including securing the Bertelsmann Stiftung digitalization award for former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves in 2017. I have also contributed to cybersecurity discussions in collaboration with NATO’s Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence in Tallinn.
